Combined Arms Shoot Guidelines
Combined arms shoot guidelines.
Each course of fire will be run on a cold range. Competitors well be in squads of six shooters and move through the event as a group. Each squad will be given an explanation of each course of fire. After a brief Q & A each competitor will shoot the course. When the competitor is called to the line the required firearms will be loaded and made ready and the range will go hot.
Upon completion of the course, all firearms will be unloaded and once verified the range will be called safe. Shooters and safety officers will score the targets and reset the stage.
Scoring will be time plus penalties for inaccuracy based. A maximum par time of 120 seconds will be allowed to compete each course of fire.
Competitors should expect shooting in awkward positions, and from cover, while moving from point to point and transitioning from one firearm to another engaging multiple threat targets.
All targets used will be IDPA standard shoot and no shoot targets. Steel targets and active/moving targets will also be incorporated.
Be safe and be accurate. Smooth is fast. Have fun.
